Finished building the spooler. We mounted the spooler directly below the machine vertically on the wall but it was too close to the extrusion tip and as a result the filament came out extremely inconsistent.

  • Relocated the machine to a different wall and place the spooler on a table surface.

  • Faced the difficulty of matching the speed of the spooler to the speed of the machine (rate of which the filament is being extruded).

  • Had the problem of the filament becoming too cold which caused it to be stiff. As a result, there was major difficulty on winding it onto spool due to the less flexibility.

  • The problems that arrive with the spooler is mainly the tension along with the gravity.

  • relocated the winder onto a table parallel to the floor
